The Fremont Station services Bridgeton Township North of the Muskegon River.

The Sheriff’s Office was established according to the Michigan Constitution which provides that the Sheriff will be elected every four years on a partisan basis. The Sheriff’s duties include the administration of the County Jail as well as operating other law enforcement related programs.
